Fans shocked as kyogo furuhashi call out popular Scottish man to stop disturbing him to join rangers

In a stunning development that has sent shockwaves through the Scottish football community, former Celtic star Kyogo Furuhashi has publicly addressed Rangers icon, urging him to stop attempting to persuade him to join Celtic’s fiercest rivals.

The Japanese international, who became a fan favourite during his successful stint at Celtic Park, rarely makes controversial statements, which makes his recent comments all the more surprising. Speaking during a media session in France, where he now plays for Ligue 1 side Stade Rennais, Kyogo took the opportunity to clear the air on rumours swirling around a potential move back to Scotland  but this time to the blue side of Glasgow.

“Barry Ferguson keeps contacting people around me, pushing the idea that I should return to Scotland and join Rangers,” Kyogo revealed. “I respect him as a former player and now a manager, but I want to say this clearly please stop disturbing me. I’m happy at Rennes and I have no intention of joining Rangers. My heart is with Celtic, and that will never change.”

The comments came as a shock to fans on both sides of the Old Firm divide. Ferguson, a Rangers boss known for his fiery personality and leadership skill, has not yet responded directly to the remarks, but insiders claim he has been an admirer of Kyogo’s talent and sees him as a player who could elevate Rangers’ attack.

Many Celtic fans were quick to express their support online, praising Kyogo for his loyalty and integrity. “Once a Celt, always a Celt,” tweeted one supporter. Another posted, “Kyogo is green and white through and through. Barry Ferguson needs to stop dreaming.”
