Raging Kilmarnock boss Stuart Kettlewell was sent off against Rangers this evening.

The 41-year-old was shown a red card by referee Kevin Clancy for kicking a water bottle in his dugout.

After he was told to make his way up the tunnel and into the Rugby Park stands, Kettlwell visibly told Clancy to ‘F*** off’.

Rangers went on to win the match by three goals to nil courtesy of strikes from Bojan Miovski and substitute Mikey Moore.

Rangers head coach Danny Rohl made two changes to his starting 11 tonight, as James Tavernier and Danilo dropped to the bench for Max Aarons and Mohamed Diomande.

Billy Dodds was quick to praise Jack Butland for his fantastic save against Kilmarnock during Rangers’ 3-0 victory.

Bojan Miovski will rightly get the plaudits at Ibrox for his two goals against Killie, which helped return the Gers to winning ways.

However, while many of Rangers’ attacking force were fantastic, one player who perhaps went under the radar was Butland.

Butland has made multiple fantastic saves for Rangers already this season, and this form continued against Kilmarnock.

This was a dangerous game, with Killie doing everything in their power to try and get back into the match, and near the 60-minute mark, they almost did.

A corner from the hosts caused chaos inside Rangers’ box with Robbie Deas rising highest to head the ball goal-bound.

However, Butland was quick to get down to block the shot and ensure Rangers maintained their two-goal lead.

Speaking on BBC Sportsound on 6 December, Dodds was quick to praise the goalkeeper.

On top of this, his passing accuracy was also on point, with 81 per cent reaching a Rangers teammate.

Hopefully, the goalkeeper can continue to put in these types of performances going forward to ensure that Rangers march up the table.

Rangers returned to winning ways at Rugby Park as they overcame Kilmarnock 3-0 on Saturday.

After a scrappy start, Bojan Miovski opened the scoreline with a toe-poked finish just after the 30-minute mark.

The striker then doubled his tally early in the second half with a lovely side foot into the net, with subsitute Mikey Moore then adding to Rangers’ tally with 10 minutes to go after a fantastic run.

From here, Rangers saw out the remaining minutes as they bounced back from their 2-2 draw with Dundee United in style.

Stuart Kettlewell, Motherwell’s manager, was disappointed but proud of his team’s performance against Rangers in the Premier Sports Cup semi-final.
