Daniel Farke fumed he betrayed us as Leed united star has just exit club not even a goodbye to his team mate

Leeds United transfer rumours as ‘approach made’ and exit linked

The latest Leeds United transfer rumours as the club look to bolster their squad in the battle against Premier League relegation.

Leeds United are currently sitting in a much more comfortable position than a few months ago and are now eight points above the relegation zone. With the January transfer window in full swing, it is the last chance for all Premier League clubs to add to their squad before the end of the season.

The Whites have already added Facundo Buonanotte on loan from Brighton and he was on the bench for Daniel Farke’s side in the win against Fulham last weekend. With 16 games to go, fans across the league are eager for their club to make a move in the transfer market that could prove pivotal come the end of the season.

One of the latest players linked with a move to Elland Road is Championship striker Patrick Agyemang. Football Insider reports that Leeds have made an approach to Derby County for the striker, along with Premier League rivals Crystal Palace.

Leeds have long been linked with adding more firepower up front, despite the fine form summer signing Dominic Calvert-Lewin has shown this season, with reports earlier this month that the club have shown an interest in Wolves striker Jorgen Strand Larsen.

Agyemang could be just what Farke needs to help them get over the line in their survival fight, with the former Charlotte FC forward contributing to 10 goals with seven goals and three assists for the Rams.

Bornauw linked with move to Bundesliga

Leeds defender Sebastiaan Bornauw has been linked with a move back to Germany with Cologne interested, according to Bild. The 26-year-old has failed to break into the side since moving to Elland Road in the summer and has started just two games.

The report suggests that Bornauw is becoming frustrated with his current situation but Leeds might want to bring in another defender before letting him go this month. Cologne sporting director Thomas Kessler discussed the club’s transfer plans:

“We still have just under two weeks,” he said. “We’ve already initiated a few things, but there’s always a club involved that might say: I don’t want to let the player go after all.

“There are always developments where one or the other player ends up getting more playing time. We’ve done our homework and are watching very closely. And then we’ll see what happens in the next two weeks.”
