As I revealed on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, the Peacocks are intrigued by the prospect of the ex-Liverpool boss heading to Elland Road.
Sources told Football Insider that Rodgers is being monitored by clubs in the Premier League and Europe after he left Celtic in October.
Speaking on the Inside Track podcast over the Whites’ fascination with tempting the Northern Irishman to Yorkshire, I explained: “If they do decide to part with Daniel Farke I am sure that Brendan Rodgers will be on that list.
Whether he’s high up on that list or not that remains to be seen. Brendan Rodgers is a top manager, he’s Premier League proven from his time at Liverpool, Leicester, he’s had a lot of success up at Celtic as well.
“Whether he would be interested in a move to Leeds and a potential relegation fight, that’s open to debate. I don’t think Brendan Rodgers right now is in any rush to return to management.

Whilst Martin O’Neill continues to hold down the fort in Glasgow, the Hoops are still working on their long-term managerial successor.
Sources told Football Insider that Wilfried Nancy remains the favourite for the Celtic job, yet an official appointment has still not been announced.
However, in the aftermath of Rodgers’ departure, Aberdeen’s former chief Keith Wyness exclusively told Football Insider that Nancy will inherit an “unhappy” Celtic dressing room and will need to work quickly to stabilise it.
The Hoops have seen a minor resurgence under O’Neill, but the expected arrival of the Frenchman will hopefully be much more impactful.
