Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner has called for an investigation after revealing concerns over a controversial chant directed from sections of the Nottingham Forest crowd during added time of a dramatic 1–1 draw at the City Ground. The highly charged Premier League clash ended with both sides sharing the points, but the post match discussion was quickly dominated by events in the closing minutes rather than the football itself.
The game had everything expected from two sides battling intensely for momentum in the league. Nottingham Forest, backed by a loud home support, started brightly and looked determined to make home advantage count. Crystal Palace, under Glasner, remained disciplined and compact, absorbing pressure before growing into the contest with controlled spells of possession.
