Forget Rangers and instead Leeds United must copy Celtic as two town hero lays transfer blueprint for EPL survival

Following Leeds securing promotion, reports emerged that club owners were considering sacking Farke in favour of someone with a better top flight record.

But Strachan insists the ex-Norwich gaffer remains the man for the job.

He added: “Leeds should absolutely stick with Daniel Farke in the Premier League; there’s no reason for them to let him go.

“They were the best team to watch in the Championship and finished above a brilliant Burnley side in the league. The manager was a big part of that, and it would be silly to replace him off the back of that campaign.”
