Liverpool manager Arne slot launchs unprovoked attack on Leeds united fans following attitude against Liverpool, it’s too brutal

‘Can take a lot of positives’ says manager Arne Slot despite Liverpool being denied by late Leeds United equaliser
Hear from Liverpool manager Arne Slot as he discusses his team’s 3-3 draw with Leeds United and how there are still positives to take.

Arne Slot was left disappointed but proud of his team’s performance after Liverpool’s 3-3 draw against Leeds United. He highlighted the positives, saying, “I think we played quite well or very well during large parts of the game, and we went 2-0 up. I don’t think we had any problems, and I don’t think we conceded a chance until the moment we made a foul, which is not even a chance” ¹ ².

Slot also addressed Ibrahima Konate’s recent form, stating, “Unfortunately for him, he does a lot of things well, but he has been a bit too much at the crime scene, that is something I’ve heard people saying before in England. That means he’s involved in goals we have conceded” ².

Regarding the team’s mentality, Slot said, “I don’t feel that. Although it’s never nice when you’re 2-0 up and you control the game… I saw mentality – the mentality to come back. Not only mentality but also quality” ³.

Slot also expressed his frustration with the nine minutes of added time, saying, “It’s hard to discuss nine minutes of added time when you’ve led 2-0 and 3-2. I’d rather talk about it after a win” ⁴.

The Liverpool manager emphasized that the team is improving, but it’s challenging when hard work doesn’t yield results. He urged fans to recognize the team’s efforts and the impact of conceding goals on individual and team morale ⁴.

Arne Slot retains the support of Liverpool’s board, according to multiple reports in the wake of Saturday’s 3-3 draw against Leeds United.

While further dropped points and an inability to twice hold on to a win at Elland Road highlighted the team’s ongoing fragilities, that has been overshadowed by Mohamed Salah’s sensational comments in the post-match mixed zone.

n a jaw-dropping tirade against the club and Slot, Salah claimed he has been “thrown under the bus” by Liverpool, revealed his relationship with the head coach is non-existent and hinted he could be on the verge of departing. This has all heightened the pressure on Slot

The report adds that “patience will not be limited”, but it will be results that determine Slot’s future, not Salah’s recent remarks.

Meanwhile, talkSPORT states the former Feyenoord man “has the full backing of the board”, with a belief that Slot should be given the freedom to decide on team matters.
