On Wednesday, La Nazione reported the winger could travel that day to complete his loan move, but that didn’t happen.
Later that day, journalist Gianluigi Longari stated Daniel Farke’s side want a £15m (€17.m) purchase obligation as part of the loan deal. Gianluca Di Marzio reported theew was also an issue related to the Englishman’s salary.
Corriere dello Sport then also stated the Whites want better terms from Fiorentina. They requested the purchase option of around €15-17m while La Viola want it at €10-12m.

Leeds United initial position was bargaining stance
According to their stance, Harrison will be a new Fiorentina player in the next few hours. TMW state La Viola have finalised the deal with the Premier League side to sign the attacker on loan with an option to buy set at €6m.
That’s around half the initial asking price, and it shows the initial Leeds United stance was a bargaining position. Had they gone in asking €6-7m, they’d have come out with less.
The outlet further adds Harrison will arrive at Viola Park on Friday for medical tests and to sign his contract.
On Thursday, Leeds United completed the signing of Facundo Buonanotte on loan from Brighton & Hove Albion. TMW believe his arrival was the ‘decisive push’ for Harrison’s Elland Road exit in January, although that may be a stretch.
Over at Sky Italia, they report Fiorentina are about to complete Harrison’s signing. He will join them on loan with an option to buy set at €7m. This is €1m more than TMW stated.
According to Sky, the Leeds United man will arrive in Italy in the ‘next few hours’ to carry out medical examinations.
