As things stand, Hearts currently sit top of the table with 70 points from 33 matches, boasting a record of 21 wins, 7 draws, and 5 losses. Just behind them are Celtic, also on 70 points but having played 34 matches (22 wins, 4 draws, 8 losses). The title race remains incredibly tight, with Rangers close behind on 69 points from 33 games.

Further down the standings, Motherwell sit in fourth place with 54 points, followed by Hibernian on 51 points, while Falkirk occupy sixth with 46 points. While the lower half of the table appears relatively settled, the battle at the top remains finely poised at least on the surface.
However, the supercomputer’s simulations suggest that the current standings do not tell the full story. Instead, deeper performance trends including win rates, recent form, and projected consistency point strongly toward Celtic ultimately finishing as champions.
Celtic’s consistency gives them the edge
Despite sitting second at present, Celtic’s statistical profile stands out. Their 22 wins from 34 matches is the highest in the league, highlighting an ability to consistently convert performances into maximum points. While their 8 losses may seem relatively high for a title contender, the supercomputer places greater emphasis on win frequency and in that regard, Celtic lead the pack.
