Sunderland have delivered a huge statement of intent just hours before their historic return to European football unveiling a groundbreaking fan ownership scheme that hands power back to the Stadium of Light faithful.
The announcement comes as the Black Cats prepare to face AZ Alkmaar tonight in their first European home fixture in 53 years .
