FANS STUNNED BY JAMIE CARRAGHER COMMENT ON CELTIC TITLE WIN AMID CONTROVERSIAL CELTIC OFFSIDE GOAL – CARRAGHER CALLED ON THE SPFL ATTENTION

A huge football controversy exploded across social media on Sunday morning after former Liverpool defender and television pundit Jamie Carragher questioned Celtic’s title-winning victory and called for the SPFL to take another look at a controversial offside incident that helped decide the match.

The comments came on Monday morning after Celtic dramatic victory over Heart of Midlothian F.C. in a tense title-deciding clash that ended with emotional celebrations from players and supporters inside Celtic Park. While the atmosphere around Celtic park was filled with excitement, the mood online  turned hostile after Carragher’s analysis on live television.

Many Celtic supporters argued that the available camera angles were not clear enough to overturn the original decision and insisted that the officials followed the correct VAR procedure.

Others focused directly on the replay footage itself, insisting the freeze-frame analysis shown during the programme did not provide enough evidence to prove the striker was offside. Several supporters also accused television pundits of repeatedly targeting Celtic whenever the club achieves success.

The controversy became even bigger after Carragher appeared to suggest that football authorities should revisit the result if serious concerns remained over the decision. While he stopped short of directly demanding the title be removed from Celtic, many viewers interpreted his comments as a call for further action from league officials.

Despite the growing criticism, Carragher later defended his analysis and insisted his comments were not meant as an attack on Celtic Football Club.
